HISTORY

Let's explore my life!

1997

Born in Shizuoka

As a kid, I was always outside or playing video games.
In junior and senior high school, I got hooked on skateboarding.
I also played volleyball in school clubs and was quite good at academics—at least until junior high.
Around that time, I started vaguely dreaming about becoming an entrepreneur.

2016

Entered IT Faculty

I was fascinated by the world of the internet, social media, and apps.
That’s when I started thinking I wanted to become an engineer someday.
Around that time, a Japanese TV drama about a young CEO running a tech company was on air, and the main character really inspired me.
That sparked my decision to study programming at university. So I decided to study programming in university.
Although I was failing academically during high school because I was focused on sports,
I worked hard in my final year and managed to get into my top-choice national university.

2020

Graduated and Started Career

Just as I graduated and got hired, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and I started working fully remotely.
As a company employee, I moved around Japan—Chiba, Kumamoto, Hiroshima—over the course of two and a half years.

2022

Became a Freelancer

After about 2.5 years, I decided to quit.
I wanted to work in Tokyo and had a strange but strong sense of confidence—"I can do this."
So I moved to Tokyo with no plan and became a freelancer.
I eventually learned how to survive on my own,
but realized that technical skills alone weren’t enough to make a big success.
After a lot of searching, I decided to learn English and aim to work abroad as an engineer.

2024

Studied in Cebu

Eventually, I felt I had hit a wall in Japan and decided to study abroad.
I spent three months in Cebu, Philippines, on a language exchange program.
I had so much fun living overseas and making international friends that I decided to go on a working holiday the following year.

2025

Working Holiday in Canada

It's close to the U.S. and Silicon Valley—the heart of global tech.
I believe Canada is the perfect place to take the next step in my journey.
I started living in Vancouver in July 2025.

WORKS

FLOWER SHOP HANA*HANA

This is a flower shop located in Kannami Town, Shizuoka, my hometown.
I was in charge of designing and developing the website from scratch using WordPress.

negura campground

This is a campsite based in Kannami Town, Shizuoka, my hometown.
I built the entire website from scratch using WordPress.

Queue management sysytem

This is a simple application I developed independently while working as a server at a very busy restaurant in Canada during my working holiday.
Since the store managed long waiting lines using only paper and pen, I created a system to improve operational efficiency and allow staff to share waitlist information in real time using JavaScript and Firebase.
Although it was not adopted for full operation, the app was tested in the actual store and received highly positive feedback from both staff and the manager.
